A few snow showers today as a strong cold front moves through
Today’s Weather Story: A few snow showers today as a strong cold front moves through. Expect gusty winds and a rapid temperature drop tonight!
Next Weather Maker: This cold front means business as the winds will be gusting as high as 40 MPH overnight tonight and tomorrow. Temperatures tomorrow will stall in the upper 20’s with wind chills in the teens. Make sure the kids are really bundled up out at the Bus Stop tomorrow morning and secure your outdoor Holiday decorations!
Another Clipper: We will see another Alberta “Clipper” system approach from the Northwest overnight Wednesday into early Thursday. This one has the potential to lay down a coating to 1” of snow by daybreak on Thursday morning. It looks like the Thursday morning commute could be a slippery one, and this might also prompt our first round of school delays for the season.
Weekend Outlook: After a few leftover flurries on Friday, temperatures will gradually warm over the weekend. Expect seasonable highs in the mid-40’s… it should be a good weekend for getting Holiday errands taken care of.
We do see another shot of cold air next week, and this active pattern is likely to last through the Holiday season!
