2 ejected, 5 sent to hospital after crash causes 2nd collision on Rte 15 in Gettysburg

State Police in Adams County say they're working to figure out what caused two serious accidents on Route 15 in Gettysburg.

Five people were sent to the hospital.

Police say 41 year old Albert Thomas of Harrisburg rammed his car into the back of another car driven by a 39 year old man; who was ejected, along with his 89 year old passenger.

Police say Thomas then kept going, flying through a grass median and hitting an emergency vehicle, causing his car to flip.

He had two small children, ages 3 and 5, in the car with him at the time of the crash.

No word on the conditions of the victims.
