York man sentenced in heroin trafficking case
YORK, Pa. —
A United State District Court Judge has sentenced a York resident in a heroin trafficking scheme he operated out of his home.
Andrew Gonzalez, 30, was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
Charges against Gonzalez stemmed from a search warrant executed by York police in March 2013. Officers found 35 grams of crack cocaine, cocaine and heroin.
The majority of the 900 bags of heroin were found floating in a toilet.
Gonzalez and Veronica Rivera pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute drugs.
Rivera was sentenced to two years in prison last week.
A third defendant in the case, Andrew Alexander, was convicted last month after a jury trial.
