Gnoza Knows It | Gas prices
I don’t know about you, but I do a lot of driving, so I try to get gas at the cheapest price I can. And I’m cheap too. So yesterday I went on a tour of the area to find the cheapest price.
First stop was right down the street from the station in uptown Harrisburg. This establishment has it for $3.15 a gallon for 87 unleaded.
Now in the past, I've always found that York County had the lowest prices. I did not find this to be the case. This station had $3.09 just off of I-83 at the Susquehanna Trail.
I went out to Lebanon, and found $2.99. That was getting better. I saw a lot of places yesterday and $2.99 seemed to be the most common.
I have found that consistently one of the best deals on gas is the Turkey Hill right off of Interstate 81 at the Wertzville road exit. $2.95. I bought that gas right there. I made a deal.
And that ended up tying for first with this truck stop off of I-81 at Route 39. This place is usually the best. You don’t always find that off interstate highways. A lot of those kinds of places jack their rates up for travelers. Not these guys.
If you know of a place that has a better price than that, please let me know.
