Come out and spend the summer with friends, old and new. You’ll enjoy swimming, bouncing, organized group games, walking trips, science experiments, art, water play, literature and music. There will also be day field trips offered throughout the summer to places like Go Bananas, Indian Echo, Cherry Crest Farm, Penn Cinema, Renaissance Faire and Mount Gretna!

Summer recKids is for children ages 3 through entering 7th grade from ANY SCHOOL DISTRICT! Hours are 6:40am-6pm M-F. Two to five day schedules are available, part-time or full-time. Program starts the day after Warwick School District ends in June and runs to September Labor Day holiday. Minimum 3-week consecutive enrollment required. Registration by appointment for Summer 2017

**Children do not have to be a member of the recCenter and may be from any school district to register.

Get up and MOVE! Begin the days with some energizing boxing and strength training. Continue with some agility games. Then slow it down with some flexibility and focus activities. Lastly, finish the day with a Splash in the recCenter pool.

PLAYGROUND YM 2017 HARC 39TH PLAYGROUND PROGRAM Ages 6–13

Summer Playground has been an ongoing tradition for local children for 39 years! Fill your child’s summer vacation with fun, exciting and safe activities all close to your home! Each week is a different pre-planned theme week where they will enjoy the outdoors, fresh air and fun!

Join the Hempfield Field Hockey coaching staff for a camp that will include fundamental principles, stick-work, offense/defense and team strategy. This program will be split into two ago groups and is for children entering grades 1st-7th. Instructors: JH coaches Jess Wise, Sarah Hunt, and members from the high school team. PAINTING WITH A TWIST

Painting with a Twist Art Camp (Ages 8-12)

Twist it up this summer with Painting with a Twist Art Camp! Your child will enjoy hands on acrylic painting and create a fun 16" x 20" painting each day (3 days). Paradigm Rhythmic Gymnastics - Rhythmic Gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines graceful movement with athletic displays of strength, precision and flexibility. Paradigm All Star Cheerleading - All Star Cheerleading is a sport which combines elements of traditional cheerleading, gymnastics and dance. Ephrata Rec’s Summer Kidz Kamp

11 weeks of summer fun! Monday, June 12 –Aug. 25 Ages 6 to 11 Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. -5:30 p.m.

Summer Kidz Kamp is 11 weeks of swimming, crafts, field trips, special events, games and much more in a structured setting with professional staff.

A $15.00 deposit/week is required to hold your child’s place in Kamp.

Summer Municipal Program offers Free weekly camps to students in the Ephrata & Akron Borough and Clay Township. Ephrata Township studentsonly pay 50% of the fee.
