Harrisburg, PA, June 13, 2016 - CBS 21 and Paul Davis Restoration are working together to revitalize the 7th & Radnor Sports Park in Harrisburg. The goal of this project is to provide a beautiful and safe place for neighborhood families to enjoy.

Volunteers from CBS 21 and Paul Davis Restoration will work on repairing building structures, renovating the baseball field and basketball courts, painting, and other general maintenance. All supplies will be donated by Paul Davis Restoration and All-Type Roofing. The project will commence on Friday, June 17th and be completed on Saturday, June 18th.

"As a local television station we appreciate the responsibility we have to support the communities where we broadcast," said CBS 21 General Manager Bill Bradley. "This is another wonderful opportunity for CBS 21 to give back. Our entire staff is dedicated to making this project a success."

"All of us at Paul Davis Restoration are grateful to have this opportunity to help our local communities," said Stephen Rotay, President/CEO of Paul Davis Restoration Mid-Atlantic. "The parks project gives us a way to positively impact as many people as we can."

A special ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Monday, June 20th, the official first day of summer. Local dignitaries such as Harrisburg Mayor Papenfuse and State Representative Patty Kim will be on hand to officially reopen the revitalized park. The ceremony will be covered live on CBS 21 News.

Members of the community are encouraged to attend.

The ribbon cutting will be followed by a community kickball game with local children and employees from CBS 21 and Paul Davis Restoration.

This will be the third park to be restored in the ongoing Parks Project. In 2015, Paul Davis restoration restored the Progressive Park in Lebanon City and the East Petersburg Park.
